I think you’ve caught me at a crossroads. I’ll apologize, but I don’t believe I am at fault. Right now, right today, in this moment I don’t love you. I think we just need some time away from one another. Perhaps that’s taking it too far. Maybe, just hear me out on this one, maybe we can negotiate and start over again. Yes, from the beginning. Let’s start fresh. Maybe we can fall in love again. While we may never spend long summer nights with familiar faces, my cheek stuck to your body, my breath fogging up your glass.. maybe we could at least go back to a friendship, you know, where you and I could collaborate and create something… learn from one another. In order for this to be possible we have to go back to the beginning and strip away all the fluff that’s built up in the last two years. So here is my solution: I will look into selling all of my lenses and purchasing just one. Begin with just one way to see the world. Teach myself what it means to be a camera again. For me. For us.
